B&B Kasteel Doornenburg

Staying at a castle

Our B&B is located in a unique spot: right in the middle of the historic courtyard of Doornenburg Castle. Above the former farmhouse and inn, you’ll find six atmospheric, luxury rooms, each with its own style and a name from the castle’s history.

You can park just outside the castle walls and reach the B&B entrance via the main gate and bridge, to the right of the old cattle shed. Inside, you’ll enter an authentic hall with information about the area. On the first floor, there’s a reading nook and a corridor with rooms overlooking the courtyard.

There is a pantry with free coffee and tea. You can grab a soda, wine, or beer and pay for it later. We serve breakfast in the coffee room or – in nice weather – under the stretch tent on the inn’s terrace.

Our story

Since 2019, Toon and Ans Niels have been running this special place with a lot of love and attention. What started with the inn grew into a small-scale B&B above the former farmhouse.

Here, in the courtyard of Doornenburg Castle, we have furnished six atmospheric rooms. Each room has its own style and refers to a piece of the castle’s history.

From the authentic hall and the cozy reading nook to breakfast in our inn, everything is designed to offer you a relaxing stay. A place where you don’t just spend the night, but become part of the story for a while.
