Van Heek room

The Van Heek room is compact, stylish and fully equipped. The lifelike photo wallpaper gives the room a soothing atmosphere, as if you are sleeping in the middle of nature. Perfect for a relaxing stay for two, within the historic walls of the castle.

The room is equipped with a comfortable double box-spring bed, air conditioning, smart TV and a safe. The luxurious private bathroom features a rain shower, toilet and washbasin. In the hallway, there is a pantry where you can get coffee, tea and water, or a chilled drink from the fridge. You can fully unwind in the reading nook or on the sunny terrace by the old cattle barn. We serve your breakfast in the inn, either inside or outside under the stretch tent.

The names of our rooms were not chosen at random. Each room carries a piece of castle history with it. The Van Heek room is named after the Van Heek textile family from Twente, who purchased and restored the castle in the early 20th century. This room reflects their dedication and love for heritage – understated, peaceful and carefully furnished.
