Van Homoet room

The Van Homoet room is decorated in a warm and classic style. You will sleep in a royal atmosphere with a view of the castle’s historic courtyard. Perfect for those who love peace, character, and a touch of history.

The room features two comfortable single beds, which can be placed together if desired. Furthermore, there is air conditioning, an internet TV, and a safe. Through a connecting hallway, you have access to a separate (shared) toilet and a shared bathroom with a rain shower. The bathroom and toilet are shared with the adjacent Van Bylandt room, ideal for families or couples traveling together. You can make use of the pantry in the hallway, or relax in the reading nook or on the terrace by the old cattle barn. Breakfast is served in the inn, either inside or outside under the stretch tent.

Our room names are based on families that were part of the rich history of Doornenburg Castle. The Van Homoet family were commanders of the castle in the Middle Ages. The classic, warm appearance of this room perfectly matches their stately legacy.
